Three servers.Zero cost.Old mods,compiled fast.
Pick your mods (or a whole FTB pack), and EMO builds a server that starts in seconds and runs in a fraction of the memory. We host it for free at a name like crispy.creeper.baconmc.net. Log in with Discord to get yours.
What every account gets
§ 01Always
on
Runs around the clock, so farms keep farming and friends can drop in any time. Click renew once every 7 days to keep it awake — otherwise it becomes a sleeper until you come back.
Sleeps when
empty
Bigger, for heavier packs. When nobody has been online for 10 minutes it saves and goes to sleep. Join it and it wakes up — your client just shows “Logging in” a little longer while it starts.
Your own
address
A random two-word name under baconmc.net, ready to share. Pick mods from EMO's tested catalog, start from an FTB preset, rebuild with new mods later, read the log and run commands from the dashboard.
How it works
§ 02Built once. Asleep when idle.
With Discord. Your account must be at least 30 days old — that keeps throwaway accounts from taking every free server. We only see your name and avatar.
Pick mods
Choose a Minecraft version and mods, or start from a preset. EMO compiles the whole server ahead of time and test-boots it with a robot player. Popular mod sets are already built, so they are ready in seconds.
Get a name
Something like sizzle.diamond.baconmc.net. Type it into multiplayer — no port needed (1.2.5 shows the port, it predates that trick).
Play
Sleepers wake up when someone joins and nap 10 minutes after the last player leaves. That is how we can give servers away: idle servers cost us nothing.
Fair use
§ 03One account
One set of three servers per person. Alt accounts to get more get every server removed.
Play, don't mine
No crypto miners, proxies, bots or anything that is not a Minecraft server for people to play on.
Keep backups
It is free and experimental. Old mods do old things. We try hard, but there are no promises about uptime or your world.
Busy hours
If too many sleepers are awake at once, a new one has to wait a few minutes. The always-on server never waits.
